This policy explains what personal information EroticTrance.com (the “Site”), operated by Hypno Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to your use of this Site and to the account systems shared with the other sites we operate.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: the username, email address and password you register with, along with any profile details you choose to add. Passwords are stored only in hashed form; we cannot read them.

Content you create: files you upload, file descriptions and tags, comments, ratings, playlists, forum posts and messages, and any fan fiction you publish.

Purchase information: what you bought, when, the amount, the billing name and address you supplied, and a record of the payment. See section 2 for card details specifically.

Preferences: your notification settings, favourite and blocked authors, category preferences, and whether you have accepted our Terms of Service.

Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our web server keeps these in access logs, which we use for security, troubleshooting and fraud prevention.

Activity: files you download or play, and your purchase and membership history.

2. Payment Information

Where you pay by card on this Site, the card number, expiry date and security code are transmitted to us and stored encrypted while your order is waiting to be processed. Authorised staff can view these details only for as long as the order is pending, and only in order to process that payment.

Once an order is completed or declined, the full card number and security code are erased from our records. We retain only the last four digits, the expiry date and the billing name, so that the order can be identified and supported afterwards.

Where you pay through a third-party payment provider, your card details are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy and are never received by us. We receive only confirmation of the payment and a reference for it.

We do not sell, rent or share payment information for marketing purposes, ever.

3. Accounts Across Our Sites

We operate more than one website. To let you use a single identity across them, we maintain a central account record linking the accounts you hold with us. This means an account you create or link on one of our sites can be recognised on another, and that purchases and memberships can be honoured across them.

Linking happens when you register with, or verify, an email address already known to us, or when you explicitly link an existing account. Content you publish is shared between our sites only in line with the sharing preferences available in your account.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Site: your account, downloads, playlists, purchases and memberships.
• To process payments and to keep records of transactions.
• To send you service messages — receipts, password resets, notifications you have enabled, and announcements. You can change or switch off notifications in your account at any time.
• To pay authors who sell content through us.
• To keep the Site secure: detecting fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

• Payment providers — to take payment and to resolve disputes and chargebacks.
• Service providers — the companies that host our servers and deliver our email, acting on our instructions.
• Authors — where you buy an author’s content, they see the sale and its value, but not your billing details.
• Publicly, by your own action — your username and anything you post, upload or publish is visible to others.
• Legal — where we are required by law, or where we must act to protect our rights, our users, or to report unlawful content.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, to remember display preferences, and to hold your shopping cart between visits. If you have asked us to remember you, that cookie persists until it expires or you log out. Blocking cookies will prevent you from logging in or purchasing.

7. How Long We Keep It

Account and content: for as long as your account exists, and until you delete them.

Full card number and security code: only while the order is pending, as described in section 2.

Purchase and payment records: retained after account deletion, because we are required to keep records of transactions for legal, tax and accounting purposes, and to support author payments. These records are kept in a form marked as belonging to a deleted account.

Server access logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then rotated and discarded.

8. Your Rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the information held about you, and ask us for a copy of it.
• Correct anything inaccurate — most of it you can edit directly in your account.
• Withdraw consent to notifications and marketing, from your account preferences.
• Request erasure — the right to be forgotten — as described in section 9.

To make any of these requests, contact us at admin@erotictrance.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it.

9. Right to be Forgotten & Account Deletion

You may ask us to erase your personal information, and you can delete your own account from your account settings.

What deletion removes: your playlists and their contents, your comments and ratings, your playlist favourites, ratings and play history, your notifications and notification preferences, and your shopping cart. Files you have uploaded are removed in line with the options presented to you at the time of deletion.

What deletion does not remove: records of purchases, payments and memberships. We are required to keep these for legal, tax and accounting reasons, and they are needed to account correctly to the authors whose work you bought. They are retained marked as belonging to a deleted account, and are not used to contact you.

Deleting your account forfeits access to everything you have purchased. Purchased files, custom files and any active membership become permanently inaccessible when the account is deleted. This cannot be undone, and deletion is not a refund — no money is returned for content or membership time you lose. Please download anything you wish to keep before deleting your account.

Accounts belonging to authors who sell content through us, and administrator accounts, cannot be self-deleted, because of outstanding balances, payments and published content. Contact us at admin@erotictrance.com and we will handle these individually.

Where we are legally obliged to retain something, we will tell you what we have kept and why.

10. Security

Passwords are hashed, card details are encrypted, and access to administrative systems is restricted to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and to limit who can see it.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy we will update this page. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you through the Site or by email.
