Ever see a dog sitting in an open cage, able to leave any time, but not willing to make that decision all on it\'s own? That\'s essentially what this file does for the listener, but it makes things simple. Even though this file will work for a cage, you don\'t actually need one. A simple tape outline can be treated like the strongest cage with the proper conditioning. Part of the focus is on making the subject unable to leave the cage without permission, but more of it involves making sure they feel guilt if they leave it without permission. The guilt grows worse and worse until the caged subject tells the right person, their owner for example, that they decided to leave the cage on their own. Ownerless types can simply post here admitting it if they don\'t have someone more appropriate to tell what they did.

The best kinds of tape to use for building cages on floors are the sorts of tape that can be seen easily and won\'t leave gunk behind. Duct-tape might be able to fix anything, but it\'s not suitable for making a cage. Scotch tape might be super cheap and ubiquitous, but you can hardly see it. Masking tape is the best sort of tape to use. The colors may differ outside the US, but different colors indicate a different grade of masking tape. The usual yellowish white masking tape is fine for most surfaces and easy enough to see. You can also get masking tape in blue and lime green colors. Blue has less glue and will leave less residue than the yellowish white, but that\'s not a problem for most surfaces. Green has even less stick than blue, it\'s slightly more sticky than those sticky notes and pulls away just as easily. You can also write things on masking tape, conditions on when the cage stops being a cage for example.
