This induction encourages you to keep your eyes open, practicing progressive muscle relaxation on your eyes by telling you to focus on a point, and then shut your eyes while continuing to look ahead. If you're reading this, close your eyes for a second or two. You most likely moved your eyes after closing them, perhaps rolling them up or down. Resist that reflex. Continuing to look ahead.
