There are a lot of possible synesthetic experiences, but it turns out that it is often relatively easy to induce interesting experiences hypnotically by simply asking the subject to have an apparently-impossible experience. The subject's subconscious mind then finds some way to interpret that suggestion, and the results are different for every subject.

 

 

This file is also something of an exploration of ASMR-- another whole category of strange sensory experiences that some people are prone to.
